Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at 22:09 The 6 day shoot for Hana's third short film, HERMANN, got under way outside Cologne in the small town of Much with some nice coverage in the local paper.
"Alongside the ten strong production team stood actor Dietrich Hollinderbaumer in the title role, famous for his parts in films including 'The Jesus-Video', 'Downfall' and the comedy series 'Pastewka'."
Hana was awarded 25,000 Euros from the Film Foerderung Nord Rhein Westphalen to produce HERMANN, the story of an older man and his budgie. As with her previous films PLAYTIME and MARION she is both writer and director.
HERMANN is a co-production between GFF and Strawberry Vale and post-production is set to be complete by Christmas.
